of high-performance gateway products to cope with high throughputs.
To provide for the
increased demand of network capacity - the ability to deliver
a large amount of bandwidth to a large amount of people, new all-IP
and Ethernet based gateway solutions and services are needed.
With leading mobile operators dimensioning their current networks for 30 kbps per provisioned user, and 4G promising up to four-time improvement in spectral efficiency, gateway throughput in excess of 40 Gbps will be required in the coming years.
