The seeds of what would mature and become today's
GATIX were laid under the leadership of the international-oriented
founding members, all with a long and prestigious history in the data
communications and telecommunications industry.
The global financial crisis has put significant strains on new mobile
operators as they deploy networks. Many WiMAX providers are smaller,
green-field operators and access to capital is crucial. Fortunately in
the US and many countries, governments have recognized the importance of
broadband on GDP growth and have established stimulus programs to invest
in broadband initiatives. Mobile WiMAX and LTE are converging upon
4G service capabilities. LTE's primary market, 3G mobile operators, will
be unlikely to deploy LTE sooner than 2014.
GATIX is taking advantage of the opportunity to become a
recognized industry leader and supplier of Gateway platforms, applications and services. It is the goal of our
company to become established as the leading manufacture of high-powered
gateway solutions.
